We are looking to hire a full-time qualified AV Engineer who has experience at lead engineer level in the luxury residential sector of home automation.    

Our office is based in The Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, however the job is mainly field based and you would need to be happy travelling to various sites across London and the South East so a clean full UK driving licence would be ideal.  

You will be part of a small team of engineers working closely with clients and project managers.   Your work will include installing, terminating, commissioning of home automation equipment and diagnostics and troubleshooting. 

You will need to be IT competent and have knowledge, understanding and experience in network configuration, basic programming (ideally Control4), system schematics and technical plans and drawings, TV wall mounting, Rack building and installation of speakers and projectors.  

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly professional, demonstrates an excellent work ethic and has a 'can do' attitude.   Excellent communication and timekeeping skills are essential in this role. 

You would need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for privacy and complete a DBS check, which we can organise on your behalf.

Lead AV & IT Engineer

 


We are looking to hire two apprentices to become Smart Home Technicians.

Our office is based in The Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, where you will spend your first few weeks. However, the job is mainly field-based, and you would need to be happy travelling to various sites across London and the South East. 

Duties and responsibilities:

To spend your time learning and shadowing existing employees who will provide you with a wealth of experience in different areas, including technology, hands-on skills, and computer skills.

  • Day to day duties would evolve as your experience and confidence grow but could involve cabling, termination and testing of cables, installation of AV, security and networking equipment, computer-based configuration of equipment, connection and configuration of ‘smart’ home devices.

  • To complete industry/manufacturer training to increase knowledge and skill set

  • To complete a Level 3 Smart Home Technician apprenticeship 

 Essential criteria:

To be dedicated to completing the duration of the apprenticeship, which is 18 months, and into an exciting career beyond.

  • Interested in technology, the internet, audio-visual, and security

  • Excellent time management skills, manners, communication and presentation.

  • Team player and eager to learn and assist others

You would need to sign an NDA for privacy and if you are already in receipt of a DBS this would be helpful otherwise we can organise this.
